I will have to say that I am excited about the Saturday morning Yoga class that I will be teaching.
Hopefully in the next couple of days I will be able to post when the start date will be. I am looking at Saturday, September 15th but nothing has been finalized yet.
9:30 - 11:30 am
I was thinking of calling the class "Kunda Yoga" just because there is a tendency to call the class something. It isn't a new discipline just an approach. Allowing the Yoga to fit the individual so that the practitioner can learn beyond the classroom.
If you have a moment please read my essay on my other website (link to the left) in which I have written about my thoughts on Kunda Yoga.
What I want to convey is a turning point in my Yoga teaching. These classes are gifts not only for the student but the teacher as wll since the learning and teaching go both ways. We all learn, don't we? My focus as a teacher has always been to enable the student to practice at home through individual and detailed instruction. By using these tools called Yoga the student is empowered mind, body and spirit healthy. Now is the time to truly integrate many more of the gifts that Yoga has to offer.
Sounds interesting? I hope so. Two hours should give us enough time to allow for questions, individual instruction when needed, and a nice long restorative sequence at the end.
More to come!
Namaste`
