Yoga Class Descriptions

Level I ~ Body alignment principles are presented to the general class and then adapted to the individual. The student will be taught standing and seated poses, twists, with gentle inversions and backbends. All Yoga props are provided but you may bring your favorite sticky mat to class.

Level II ~ Perfect for the Yoga student who has completed two or more Level I classes. Shoulderstand, Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations), deeper backbends, and arm balances are introduced into this dynamic class.

Level III ~ This class is a wonderful opportunity for the Yoga student who has a regular practice at home. The Yoga Asana are held longer while more subtle alignment cues are taught to bring the awareness to a deeper, more personal level. Strength, balance, poise and grace may be found while first working hard and then relaxing fully.

Gentle Yoga ~ Prior Yoga experience is not necessary in this class. This will be a slower paced Yoga class that will incorporate many of the Relax and Renew postures taught by Judith Hanson Lasater's teacher training workshops.

Private Yoga classes ~ Detailed personal instruction provided. Great for intro, sciatica, back problems, high/low blood pressure, or other special needs individuals. 2 hour private class = $90.00
